Our Downsview Suite on the first floor enjoys spectacular uninterrupted views of the South Downs, the large Function Suite can be hired for club events, wedding receptions or conferences with the added advantage of free parking for up to 100 cars. Fair Weather Membership - This will also be for 12 months but you will only pay and play for 9 months. The months not included in the Fair Weather package are December, January & February [being the least used months] hence your handicap will be frozen during this time and reinstated in March.
Should you wish to play during these months [normal golf or members competitions] you will incur a green fee, or you can pay the difference and continue through the year.Fair Weather members will be allowed to play in any individual members' competition throughout the winter period, having paid a green fee.

Our Golf shop is run by Richard Allen, who has been a qualified PGA Professional golfer since 1998. Richard and his staff pride themselves in providing a first class level of customer service and excellent value for products and lessons. He endorses custom fitting for players of all abilities which bring about a significant improvement in performance.

Absolutely beautiful location. We had a funeral reception at the golf course and the team were fantastic, on such an emotional day we didn't have to worry about a thing. They provided a fantastic range of food and drinks for the reception and really looked after us. It was a real pleasure and we are so grateful for all they did to make the day as good for us as possible, for which they did exactly that. I highly recommend this venue.

Quirky layout, some interesting holes. But lack of drainage harms the course quality, after a rainfall balls can embed in fairways and greens, even in summer. In addition to this many of the green sites are fairly flat, meaning you can take dead aim at pins instead of having to use banks/hollows or pick safer landing spots. Whilst this isn't a massive issue it certainly harms repeatability of the course as there is very little to learn from your approach shots the first time round.

Attended a funeral 'reception' and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or efficient which helped to lift the 'gloomy' atmosphere of the funeral service,food which was on the tables was excellent and a much better way of having food than a 'buffet'!Good selection of beers and wines! Very well organized!

Very fun layout, not just a long slug fest of driver tee shots. 3 real risk and reward short par 4s and lots of dog legs to make it a real test of distance and accuracy.
Greens left a little to be desired, but look forward to seeing how they improve later in the year.

We recently had our beautiful wedding here at wellshurst. From the moment we booked to have our wedding here Phylis was more than accommodating with everything we wanted for our special day.
