Vicky's After School Club
So that your children are not afraid to pursue excellence in everything they do; are able to develop resilience when faced with difficulties and show compassion during their individual journeys to success. Your children only get one chance to be in Primary School, so we endeavour to make sure it is the very best time of their young lives.
Services
We are an inclusive Church school with Christian values that are the cornerstone of what we say and do, with the different people we meet. COMPASSION and TOLERANCE drive our behaviour to help those in need and accept others' differences so that we have an inclusive education and community for the least to the most able and those who are vulnerable.
Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) says that children and young people should have a say in decisions that affect their lives. We believe that our school council should provide a meaningful way in which pupils can voice their opinions, have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them and help improve some aspects of school life.
We are registered with Ofsted and are proud to have received a good rating at our recent Ofsted inspection. Please view our Ofsted report. Our Club follows the Play work Principles, so the children are free to choose activities and resources as they wish. There will always be a selection of activities and resources available, including arts and crafts, board games, construction, physical play, quiet area and reading.
Since children spend time sitting on the floor and in activities that require movement, high boots and high heels are not acceptable. Children must have an extra pair of wellies/shoes in school so that they can play on the field during wet weather. For PE children require a complete change of clothes, consisting of Navy or Black sport shorts, plain White t-shirt and plimsolls or trainers.
If you or your partner receives Income Support, ESA (IR), Income-based Jobseekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit (not Working Tax Credit) & have a family income below 16,190 you may be eligible for a FREE school meal. If your child is eligible they will receive a tasty, nutritious school lunch free every day of the school year.
