The Lamb Inn is a gracious and welcoming Free House in the foothills of the Quantocks renowned for the great food and drink it offers. The extensive exterior presents a friendly face to the world, whitewashed and adorned with window boxes. Inside attractive original features include the beamed ceilings.
The open-plan bar has a wood burning stove and a cosy, traditional ambience. The lovely lawned garden to the rear is just the place to enjoy a relaxing drink or meal on fine summer days. A fine selection of drinks are on offer including at least three real ales from local breweries, guest beers, lagers, ciders, spirits, soft drinks, teas and coffees, together with an excellent wine list of international vintages.

It's under new ownership, but the new owners seem to be trying to keep things much as they were. The menu is similar but smaller, and the famous pies are still on the menu. We four all had something different, and all were good. More people seem to be going in for a drink than under the previous owners, so there's a bit more of a buzz. Don't be put off by the blackboard outside inviting you in for drinks and snacks. They do full meals.
