The White Hart
The White Hart has for many years been known for its fine fare and hospitality. We hope that you will find that this long tradition of quality food, fine beers and great service continues. You can choose a table in the main dining area or enjoy a quieter spot at the bar, or if you're lucky enough you may even be able to bag the top spot at one of the sofas by the fire, the perfect spot to relax on a chilly day.

One thing is for certain, whenever you choose to dine with us, we can guarantee you will enjoy amazing food in a relaxing, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our Front of House staff will continue to wear their face masks for the time being but we are not expecting our customers too. You are now able to order food and drinks from the bar but we do politely ask that you do NOT stand drinking at the bar.

Came for a few drinks with mates and turned into a full on meal. Macie was so friendly and inviting and advised me the best cocktails and the best sellers on the menu. Macie also made us feel very welcome, will definitely be back again.

Delicious food and very helpful, pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend to go there for dinner. I loved the meatballs, wish they had it as a main course as well!

What a place! Very impressed with the decor, staff, service & food which was amazing. We came for a Christmas meal & despite our booking not having been completed correctly, it was honoured & I can honestly say that not only was it the best pub roast Dinner I have ever tasted, it was the best Christmas dinner (pub or otherwise) I've had in a very long time & apart from the stuffing, (I only ever eat sage & onion) I ate every scrap. . I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

Pub looks great drinks are good
We had for starters camembert 6/10, squid 3/10...oily and rubbery and not as described no lime dip was bottled sweet chilli sauce and not a good one
Mains sea bass 3/10 had obviously been microwaved to get hot for serving.potatoes disappointing
Cod and chips....tasted like rock salmon not cod, mushy peas very watery and cold. Tartar sauce enough for two chips...5/10
Were very busy but that's no excuse for poor quality
Waiting staff were stupendous, felt sorry for them

What a find! Hidden away next to the green, The White Hart had plenty of space for 3 of us to enjoy a last minute Sunday roast. The pork and beef was excellent, and the pizza was fantastic. Generous portions and great customer service. We will be back!

Nice country pub with a generous menu, lovely attentive team and great baby change facilities.
Food arrived promptly and we didn't feel pressured to finish quickly, which can sometimes be the case when you have a baby in the party.
Ramps inside mean there's great access for wheelchair users and a large car park so you don't have to worry about maneuvering to fit your car into a space.
Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Pub, with absolutely delicious well presented food, everyone should definitely come here one day.
The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. They even created a new plate of food to accommodate allergy (when I would just have been happy to have less on my plate, they came back with an amazing combination).

Home local. We've been trudging here through the woods over several decades - through various changes of hands. The current team have created a warm, cosy, clan space with a reliably excellent menu of well executed pub food. Coming here for a Sunday roast in the winter or a cold cider in the summer always makes me feel like I've truly arrived back home.

Hidden gem of a place, off the main roads & tucked away off the Wood Street green. Warm & friendly atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced & excellent quality. Well worth seeking out!

This place is fantastic, the food is excellent, and the staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgable. It's one of the few decent gastro pubs in the area that will let you book. Menu choice is great, good beer and extensive wine list. I can't recommend it enough. Best pub/restaurant for miles. Blows The Swan in Ash Vale away.

We went there for Christmas dinner. Atmosphere had a good vibe, with a warm feel of traditional fireplaces and large wooden beams. Food was tasty and elegantly served. A hidden gem of a pub. We plan to go back.

This is a really nice, traditional kind of country pub. It has open fires, wood beams, that kind of thing. It's never been massively hectic when I've been there, even on their very popular quiz nights. The beer is pretty good, the prices are typical for the Guildford area. It's not a huge place, but is all just based on one large room. Has a few quiz machines, but I don't remember it ever being a noisy place. Not a place to go for a wild night out, but if you fancy a few quiet drinks in a pleasant and relaxed surroundings, then this is definitely one to consider
