Have never visited this location, was making enquiries on behalf of a friend, who is a very keen golfer. As he and his work colleagues, tour Scottish and UK Golf Course's.
And was remarking, how similar Helensburgh Golf Course is to Rothesay Golf Course! Seems they were both designed by the same person!π€π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώπ

Good bit of lunch in between rounds thanks to the great kitchen and bar staff. A great and very enjoyable day out and again thank you to all the staff and members for having us.

Just got to play this course on a trip of a lifetime to Scotland. We were staying in Inveraray and this course came up as one of the top courses in the area. Boy did it not disappoint. Showed up a little early do to time constraints in the trip. We got to meet a couple of the members and they were all so nice to us. We had to rent clubs and they were all from decent sets. The course was in fantastic shape and my father and I had a blast playing the course. The views could not be beaten because the course sits overlooking the town of Helensburgh and two local lochs. Thank you for allowing us to

Unfortunately this was my first time & was not great. If you are looking for a really well kept course then this is definitely one! However, The bar had no bottles of water to buy before we tee'd off & it was absolutely scorching!... Couple that with the fact it took us nearly 5 hours to play 18 holes as the seniors infront of us were beyond slow it was unpleasant, It shouldn't be allowed. Massive detractor to why Golf Clubs these days have very few younger members to senior ratio.
