Services
Most golf clubs are fussy regarding dress code when attending the club. Golf is a very traditional sport and whilst we want to embrace modern day living, the club wishes to still maintain a level of our dress code. We want our members & visitors enjoy the club whilst respecting the traditions of the game, club and its members.
Just a quick email to thank you very much for the hospitality you showed myself and my 3 friends yesterday. Arriving at The Carrick after flying up from London, to be told the course is shut was a nightmare. With every cloud having a silver lining, your club was that silver lining. Your course provided a good challenge for our golfing abilities.
Here at the Vale of Leven Golf Club we understand the benefits of creating a community of golf enthusiasts irrespective of ability and we truly welcome all, whilst making it more affordable. It is with great pride and pleasure that we have announced the " Best private golf club full membership deal" in West Dunbartonshire and surrounding area.
We at the Vale of Leven Golf Club are 'committed to Unity and the Experience of Golf' and by experience, we mean the whole experience. We understand the perceived difficulties of being new and establishing your place within a new club. Our aspiration of creating a real golf community of like minded golf enthusiasts, has allowed us to develop an approach that will allow YOU to integrate from day one.
We at the Vale of Leven Golf Club welcome serving and former serving military personnel and value the dedication and service and the commitment you have demonstrated throughout your career. Here at the Vale we have a number of veterans who currently are members. We are committed to unity and the experience of golf, and are endeavouring to do our service for those who gave.

Was ok. Greens very slow (summer), hard to get used to. Clubhouse very dated. No pro shop open. Lot of distance from free to tee. A few interesting holes. 16 & 17.

Course was in great condition and good greens. Some short holes but very tight in places. Couple very good short par4s with risk/reward shot go for green. Well worth a game especially at prices on teeofftimes ect.
