Services
In our Teddy Bears 'House' we care for the youngest children in our nursery, Our dedicated and caring staff will help both you and your baby settle into Nursery life. Babies, of course, determine their own timetable but your child's keyworker will take care of their every need throughout the day.
Your baby will have their own diary, which will go home each night with information about their day i.e. details of sleep, bottles, meals/snacks, nappy changes, fun, games and cuddles which your baby has enjoyed.The diary can be used by parents to write down any information they may wish to relay to staff.

Carousel Nursery, Alexandria is housed in a lovely child friendly detached villa in Luss Road, Alexandria. We are situated near the Vale of Leven Hospital and are just 2 minutes off the A82, located on the main road through from Balloch to Alexandria. The Nursery has been completely refurbished with imagination and flair with stimulating displays to provide your child with a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Carousel School's Out Club is situated in the East End of Dumbarton. The Club offers children a wide range of activities to choose from in a secure and safe environment. After a hard day at school children need to relax and unwind in a variety of ways and Schools Out offers a very fluid and flexible programme.
We also have information on the childcare voucher scheme which can assist parents in paying for childcare. Additional sessions used during the day period will be invoiced in the following monthly invoice. Fees are charged across a 52-week year. Full fees are due whether your child attends Nursery or not and during periods when the Nursery is closed.
Carousel Nursery was proud to be the first Private Nursery in the locality to be awarded the Green Flag. Nurseries can work towards gaining flags, bronze, silver and green, by introducing eco-friendly initiatives both in nursery, and in the grounds which surround us. Our efforts are then assessed by a representative from Eco Schools Scotland.
