Successful AI requires meticulous planning and preparation, accurate timing and careful monitoring. Decisions such as the choice of mare and stallion and the presentation type of the semen (fresh, chilled or frozen) are crucial in improving the chances of your mare becoming pregnant.

We can help in all these areas, providing advice and taking cervical swabs to test for infectious diseases prior to the process, scanning and other tests to help predict the timing of your mare's ovulation, as well as the insemination process itself.Mares can board with us at the clinic where we can provide a fixed cost for the whole procedure.
At Deben Valley Equine we are fortunate to have a very well equipped clinic, enabling us to provide the best standards of treatment when your horse comes to see us. As well as the clinic there is a large area for lorry parking so why not save money on visit fees and bring your horse to our clinic. Stabling with rubber matting, horsewalker, indoor school and trot-ups.

Definitely the best Equine Vets in the area, all staff are lovely and very helpful. The practice is efficiently run and the building itself is situated in a convenient place for many horse owners.

This practice has looked after my little herd of horses and ponies now for many years. I would rate them 6 stars if I could. Always a correct diagnosis even with quite rare conditions and thorough treatment plan. Especially good with the oldies of which I have had a few. Love the proactive approach and we have been able to mitigate problems before they get too bad and the benefits to the horses welfare are obvious. And they are lovely people......

I can't rate them highly enough. They have always gone above and beyond to give my pony the best care, not to mention reassuring me. The vets and office staff have a lovely manner and I know that should I ever need them in a crisis, they will offer the same top notch treatment.
