Tapestry is a secure online Learning Journal to record photos, observations and comments, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, to build up a record of your child's experiences during their time with us. This system allows us to work with parents and carers to share information and record the children's play and learning in and outside of the classroom.
Mealtimes at Shining Stars Nursery are a fun, happy and social occasion where the children sit together at the dining tables and build on their interaction and listening skills. Our aim is to create a home like atmosphere and environment, encouraging children to set the table, share and serve food and develop their fine motor skills using their cutlery.
Following the huge success of our FREE door to door pick up & drop off Shuttle Service at Preston Shining Stars Nursery, we are glad to announce the FREE door to door pick up & drop off Shuttle Service will now be up and running across the rest of our settings. All our drivers are DBS cleared and all vehicles are fitted with safety child seats and booster seats.

I worked for this nursery . The assessment for the children staff didn't know were children actually sat with in it and were amended to look right in case OFSTED came in which is a disgrace . Children were aloud to bring own snacks in which included chocolate and crisps in stead of a healthy snack . The independence of pre school children was poor and was not encouraged by staff instead staff members were happy to feed the children . Some times A staff member would watch over both rooms not following ratio and the resources for children were poor . Group activity were not organised properly and
