Services
Lambkins Day Nursery & Pre-school Centre was the brainchild of owner and founder Rachel Forster, who first began to plan creating her own free-range nursery in 2012. Rachel was lucky to have trained and worked in two outstanding nurseries where she gained a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Although she enjoyed being a part of a busy and successful team, once married she yearned to be back in the countryside where she grew up, to start a business and family where her children and others have room to roam and where mud is very much a daily topic.A new opportunity lead to Lambkins Day Nursery & Pre-school opening at the old Eden Ostrich World visitors Centre, Langwathby hall, 4 miles east of Penrith.
Our staff team is highly valued and we pride ourselves in having a consistent staff team. For us, our commitment to our team mirrors our commitment to our children. All members of the team are fully qualified, experienced and supported by a strong management team. They are all enthusiastic and caring - combining a love of young children with professional expertise.
