Here at Ivegill Nursery we work hard to ensure that all the children in our care benefit from a friendly, supportive and stimulating environment. Valuing individuality and developing independence are important aspects of our provision.
As a small setting we are able to get to know our children and families really well. We provide a warm and caring atmosphere where all children can feel safe to explore the environment, and have fun. Services
It is registered for children aged 2 - 5 years and is open during school terms. We also run a music session for accompanied babies and toddlers once a week. The Nursery is self contained within the school but is very much 'part' of the school. The nursery is set in a classroom attached to the main Ivegill School building.
Every day at Ivegill Nursery we work hard to ensure that the children receive the best possible experiences we can give them. There is a good balance of child initiated and adult led activities for children to enjoy. We offer areas of continuous provision, which means that the setting is arranged in certain areas such as creative area, role play, quiet area, sand/water and many more.
Promoting a happy, stimulating and nurturing environment to ensure all children have the opportunity to grow and flourish is a passion of mine. I take great pride in watching children develop and thrive as they continuously grow to become successful learners in their own individual way - to me this in an honour.
