Our philosophy is to encourage purposeful play in a stimulating, safe environment for your children. The nursery school is open 52 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm (negotiable outside these hours and days). Our fully qualified staff are guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage framework to ensure your children reach their best potential.

Stone Eden is privately owned by David & Jennifer Farrell, operating from converted farm buildings within open countryside near Carlisle. The nursery school caters for more than 90 daily places and a register of some 350 children. We've been recognised for our dedication and passion for quality childcare training and were finalists at last year's CN Golden Apple Education Awards.

Stone Eden is a successful nursery school. We provide a very high standard of education and care to babies from 3 months, toddlers 2 to 3 years and to preschool children from 3 to 5 years old. Rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted; for more than ten years we have provided a stimulating and enjoyable preschool experience that has proven to nurture the future success of children of all abilities and temperaments.
