For a gentle stroll to Grasmere, head out of Jonty's and the village North East crossing the B5343, following the footpath that runs parallel with the minor road heading up hill. After a few hundred metres the road forks and a footpath continues North east over Huntingstile Crag, then down into Grasmere.
