What a fantastic place! We had a very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable time. Excellent facilities and delicious, plentiful food. David and Angela really know how to look after their customers.
The room was well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the huge bed. Great shower with very pleasant locally produced toiletries.
A very peaceful countryside location but only a few minutes drive from local towns. Lots of easy, beautiful walks in the area. The views from the hotel are superb. Amazing sunsets looking up the Forth to the famous bridges. We will definitely be returning.

Really enjoyed our stay, qualities of a high end hotel yet very homely feel from it.
Lovely personal touches throughout, from amazing food to a lovely lounge bar and beautiful surroundings.

Garelton is a lovely quite place for a break with breathtaking views over the east Lothian countryside. The owners David and Angela could not be nicer or more helpful and the food is absolutely delicious! Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to have a break in the area.

We went for an evening meal only. The choice was excellent as was the service. The three course meal was delicious and it was enjoyed by my wife and I. The after dinner banter and whisky was also excellent. Thank you.

I felt very spoiled from the minute I arrived at Garleton Lodge.
David and Angela are great hosts and so welcoming.
The views across the Firth of Forth are stunning...and is so peaceful, just the spot to recharge and relax.
Great room, fab shower!
Lovely food. The hot tub and spa are a great bonus.

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay for our "should have been our wedding day" night. The hosts were so friendly and attentive. Lovely couple! They really provided that personal, family touch that is so often lost in big chains. The room was outstanding, the bed so comfortable and the food delicious! Perfect stay! Thank you!
