Even though it is a new venture, the Italian family who owns and runs the restaurant is not new to the area or the business with experience accounting for more than 30 years in the food industry.

Freshly prepared local fresh produce and a good selection of wines to suit and complement the food on offer in a pleasant environment is the main focus of Cucina Amore. The moment you walk into Cucina Amore you realise you are not into just another Italian Restaurant. In order to create an intimate dining experience you need to have a relaxed, comfortable but homely atmosphere which is as important as the food.

We were here for dinner on Friday night. We had booked, although were surprised to find it quite quiet. Despite this we were seated at the table between the kitchen door and a toilet and opposite the staff area at the bar. It was probably the worst table in the place. The welcome wasn’t the friendliest to be honest, so we weren’t filled with optimism.
However, the food was excellent. We were advised of the specials board and we both chose from there. Venison tagliatelle, and a delicious pumpkin ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce. We shared a rosemary focaccia and a tomato and red onion salad. Everything

First visit to North Berwick and Cucina Amore. We went in early evening today for a quick dinner with our 2 year old boy. We were hoping to have a decent, if quick, dinner, that he would let us without melting down.
From the minute we went in, the staff were great. They arranged a high chair quickly, were helpful getting us settled and took a quick order of pasta for our son which arrived less than 5 mins later. This meant we could enjoy our dinner a bit more as he'd been mostly fed.
Our food was great, the staff were wonderful, couldn't do enough for us and the restaurant was perfectly laid

Lovely italian restaurant with high quality food. Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, the meatballs were very tasty and the highlight of the dish.
The staff were incredibly friendly and kind a good place to practise some Italian if so inclined.
Definitely worth a visit especially since the establishment was moderately quiet for a sunday lunch period.

Highly recommended 🌠for an amazing homemade kitchen and reasonable prices! One of a very few that serves really amazing and Italian food! I am a fan of Italian cuisine and I have tried many of them in Edinburgh and around, this is the Winner! 🌠 Everything was freshly prepared and my friend enjoyed homemade tiramisu. Good atmosphere and music choice too. Plenty of space to bring your kids too. All the best for more happy customers! We will be definitely back!
