As parents, you are your child's first educator, and we hope to work in partnership with you to offer your child the very best start to their education. Results have shown, that children learn best when they are happy, we believe this to be true. We also believe that learning should be fun, and fun will be at the heart of what we are aiming to achieve.
Services
The government has outlined 7 areas of learning; we look at what our children can do, their interests and what they enjoy and we build on this with careful planning. Children to have a positive self image, to share and take turns, to understand how they and others are feeling and to develop friendships.
We have one large activity room, an entrance hall, toilets, kitchen and a large outdoor area which comprises of a grassed and concrete area. The main room is equipped for art and craft activities, role-play, technology, construction, science, cookery, table activities, floor toys, music sessions, P.E., a computer, sand and water play.
Sunbeams Educare provides care for children during term time from 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. Morning sessions run from 9.15-12.15. Sunbeams nursery is registered by Ofsted to have a maximum of 26 children per session, and during such session the nursery would have 4 or 5 members of staff involved. The registration fee will be reimbursed when their child receives government funded hours.
