The nursery is owned by Laura Goddard whose innate passion for making a positive difference to children's lives led her through a career in Early Years, to motherhood and eventually achieving her dream of developing a setting of her very own. At Halesworth Day Nursery we provide an atmosphere of happiness and security - a place where each child makes a contribution and feels valued.
Our ethos is based on the belief that children are all born with immense potential and are foremost their own educators - natural learners with ability, curiosity and imagination. Our Aim - To provide an inclusive, safe and nurturing environment where children are recognised as individuals with unique qualities that are valued and developed.

Services
Halesworth Day Nursery has a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of children, young people and adults. We believe that all children, young people and adults, without exception, have a right to be safe and to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of background and free from discrimination.
Halesworth Day Nursery aims to be flexible where possible when offering session times to children. However the following restrictions are in place to ensure continuity for the children, sufficient staffing levels and quality of care and education. If the days or sessions requested cannot be guaranteed for your preferred start date your child will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified when a place becomes available.
At Halesworth Day, we deliver the highest standards of Care & Education for all children who attend our setting. Our practice is delivered in accordance with a statutory framework called the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which was established by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.
The contribution a family can make towards their child's development whilst they are at nursery is always greatly welcomed and fundamental in ensuring the best outcomes for children. We work in partnership with parents to meet the needs of the children within our care. We very much see ourselves as an extended part of the child's family and encourage parents to get as involved as possible.
Good health is one of the most important determinants of a child's life chances. As influential professionals we recognise our responsibility to promote and encourage children's healthy development, working in partnership with parents and other professionals to give children the absolute best start in life.
