Our children will leave Meadow Primary School as confident, resourceful and respectful individuals who are ready to transition into a successful life at secondary school and beyond. At Meadow Primary School, we intend that all children should enjoy their learning, achieve their potential and become independent life-long learners.
Our school's behaviour policy has ensured that there is a consistency of approach across the school with pupils understanding the expectations of staff and the possible rewards and sanctions. This has resulted in a whole school understanding of behaviour strategies and significant improvements to the behaviour of individual children.
Our Local Governing Committee (previously known as the Governing Body) is made up of members from the local authority, community, staff and parents. Governors are part of the biggest volunteer force in the UK - there are 300,000 of us! So what do we get out of it and what difference does it make to you and your children?
Meadow Primary Out of School Care Club provides Breakfast Club and After School Club provision. Breakfast Club opens at 7.30 am and After School Club closes at 6 pm, enabling us to provide wrap-around care. 11 schools across Epsom and Ewell including Meadow Primary School, are working in partnership with South Farnham SCITT to recruit talented individuals to train to be teachers in a Surrey Primary School. They are looking to recruit 180 trainee teachers next school year across Surrey and we would like some of those new trainees who come from the local area to train at our School!
