As a Turkish food aficionado I can say that this is up there with the best in the country. I have it before every Fulham game and the mixed Shish is tender, succulent and very well cooked. The bread is unbelievable and the garlic and hot sauce are on point. Wash it down with an Efes all for the low price of £14. Nothing better before watching the mighty Fulham trounce another Championship team on our way to the Prem. COYW

Once I asked are you sure this is a large portion? He said yes that’s large , never again !! I paid basically for chips

Soul Flame, just next to Putney Bridge, is a small and friendly restaurant with simple but excellent Turkish dishes. The portions are huge so don´t over order.
We ordered hot mezes for starters (falafel, hellumi and sucuk) and it came with the best tasting olives and bread any of us had eaten for ages! And so we weren´t hungry any longer, but now came the main courses: we had ordered one charcoaled marinated lamb liver and one beyti (charcoaled lamb kofte, wrapped in thin bread and cooked in tomato sauce) to share between three persons; unfortunately we couldn´t finish half of it...
