Very disappointed with the food...the guy serving us, although bless him, was clearly hungover. The food was bland and the amount of hollandaise we received with our eggs Benedict was an absolute joke. The building is lovely and the restaurant has so much potential, but sadly the service and food let it down big time.

Visited recently with my mum who came to visit and really enjoyed the place. The team were so accommodating, seated us in a booth and recommended some great cocktails and food. Special mention to James who went above and beyond and made my mum feel comfortable and safe on her first visit out since lockdown. I am a local and will definitely be heading back soon with fiends :)

I've always loved this pub, the staff are fantastic and would give 10 stars if I could. Last weekend a man started following me down the street shouting obscenities at me after my dog growled at him. So I ducked into the pub to get away from him. Unfortunately he followed me in and started shouting the place down. The staff were amazing and bundled me off to the back of the pub and kept the man away from me. They were really professional, bought my pup some water and made sure I was ok and felt safe until my friend joined me. Thank you for being so great!!

Disappointing.
We arrived early and pointed towards a table. Noone brought us a menu or drink for a good 10 mins. Eventually someone came over to see if we were okay got us some water and breakfast menus. We'd actually booked for Sunday lunch so when we asked for the lunch menu we were told it was to early to order lunch (it was 12:45).
After waiting again, they took our order. They forgot my drink so I had to ask again. We ordered some bread and olives and 2 Sunday roasts. The bread wasn't worth the money - £5 for 5 small slices of focaccia. They couldn't have been more than 3cm x 8cm and toasted

Loved this place when I first came in the summer, but having been a few times since, I've noticed the size of the 'big plate' dishes get noticeably smaller. Today the halloumi was barely grilled and the portion was even smaller than before. Very disappointing as it was absolutely delicious before.
Not worth what you pay for now, sadly won't be going back.
*Hi Stuart, I did question the halloumi with the waitress and was told this was how it was.

I used to live in Clapham Junction for more than 8 years and I have seen all the Bank transformation. Together with friends we were looking for a nice place for brunch today (Sunday). The Old Bank was a great option as we were rather a big group (4 adults and child) and all other places in Northcote Rd are small and usually packed. The Old Bank has a lovely interiors, very good customer service and tasty food. I would recommend it.
