Little Orchard Montessori Nursery
At Little Orchard Montessori Nurseries we aim to provide a caring, friendly environment where your child is encouraged to follow their own interests, learn at their own pace and have fun whilst doing so. We use the highly acclaimed Montessori Method to ensure we bring out the very best in every child.

Our settings are full of interesting things to do and your child is given the freedom to express what interests them. Our day nurseries, in Devon, are small enough to enable us to deliver a personal and individual approach to your child's development but big enough to allow your child to engage with others and learn important social skills.
Services
Our Chaddlewood nursery in Plympton is at the heart of a bustling residential area, close to local shops and a play park. Our proximity to Language Business Park also makes us convenient for many parents working in the area. Chaddlewood Montessori Nursery is open from 7:30am - 18:00 and offers the children breakfast, a two course hot lunch produced by a qualified chef, high tea and snacks.
Little Orchard Sparkwell had its second Ofsted inspection in 2016 and we were delighted to have been awarded 'Good' in all areas, a great achievement under the new Ofsted framework. Little Orchard Woodlands had its first Ofsted inspection in 2016 and we were delighted to have been awarded 'Good' in all areas, a great achievement under the new Ofsted framework.

Our eldest daughter has just finished at the Sparkwell setting today. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time there. Friendly, welcoming staff always and can't rate them high enough. Thank you for giving her such a lovely experience before starting school, our youngest will be with you when she's 3 😍

As if going back to work full time after maternity leave wasn't stressful enough, we had to find somewhere for our 1 year old daughter to go full time. She was super clingy so we were worried about where she would enjoy and fit in. We considered childminders and visited a couple of nurseries before deciding that the Sparkwell setting was the one… for us.
A year on, our daughter has thrived massively at Little Orchard, she's so vocal about everything and has become really independent, and has developed a love for singing! The nursery has a fantastic and spacious outdoor area, food is healthy

Perfect, quaint 5 Star Nursery
My little girl had been here for a month now and she loves it. Due to my work changes this is actually her 4th nursery with the last 2 being rated at ‘outstanding’ by Offstead. She’s literally walks around saying ‘I love my new nursery’ and on the way there in the morning she talks to her Nunu (AKA comfort rag)… telling it she’s loves her new nursery. So pleased I moved her. She has been talking so much more about things she’s being doing, and I assume they do lots of singing because God bless her, she has been singing

My daughter (3 years old) has been going to the ivy town nursery since September and she absolutely loves it..... we can’t fault little orchards in anyway they have really helped our daughter with her slight… speech delay and are continuing to help her in every way they can to prepare her for school next year. The best part about little orchards nursery is they are montessori which means that my daughter Alexis can learn at her own rate rather then what is “expected” of her at her age and they work in a child-centred way so it’s all done around my child. My daughter has attended this nursery for nearly 12 months and has received fantastic care and attention, the staff update me daily through an app where I can see what my daughter has eaten that day and what activities she has taken part in including photos. The location is perfect as set in the centre of Ivybridge town so the children often get the chance to go on nature walks and visit the local residential homes, fire station and shops. The Chef sends through a weekly meal planner so you can see what’s on the menu for the week.

Both my children have/are attending this nursery and I cannot speak highly enough of it. They thoroughly enjoy the environment and are extremely fond of the team. Leaving your babies each time is hard - but I do it safe in the knowledge that they are loved and cared for in my absence

Fantastic nursery. My son has been going to Woodlands since he was 18 months old and he loves it. The style of teaching is second to none and he has learned to become a very independent and confident little… boy. The staff are warm and friendly, happy to offer a hug when needed but just as capable of gentle discipline when required. If I have more children I'll be booking them a space here without doubt. 5 stars!

I couldn’t be happier with Ivy Town nursery. Both my girls love spending time here. The staff and managers are absolutely fantastic and I always feel at ease knowing my girls are in very safe hands. They both… love eating Mike’s freshly cooked meals and have lots of fun exploring new things. I have found the whole Montessori ethos works really well, in letting my girls follow what interests them and learn at their own pace. They’ve both gained confidence in themselves and made some really lovely friends. I also love hearing and seeing what my girls have been up to through
