At Bambinos, learning through play is central to our ethos and children can successfully progress through all seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The Early Years Foundation Stage is embedded in everything we do at Bambinos.
The principles surrounding this framework are displayed in every room and can be seen in each child's individual Learning Diary. Up to 30 hours free childcare per week for 3 & 4 year olds is available at all Bambinos nurseries and up to 15 hours free childcare per week for eligible 2 year olds!.

Services
This is the Bambinos story so far, but we look forward to adding to this year on year and sharing our story with you. Bambinos was established in 1995 and we have been providing outstanding childcare in and around Plymouth ever since. It had always been a dream of Mrs Alison Lane and Mr William Lane to open up a children's day nursery.
The nursery provides a welcoming and stimulating environment where children feel secure and able to access challenging and exploratory activities in a safe space. We ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are communication-friendly, rich in text and visual images.
Children need to interact with natural and everyday objects and this is achieved through heuristic play and treasure baskets featuring wood, metal and a range of fabric, textures and colours.Children work together to produce inspiring and creative work which is displayed around the nursery. We document children's learning by displaying photographs of activities/events they have taken part as a visual example of the learning process.

Many children are in nursery for a whole day and it is very important that the food they receive is nutritious, balanced and varied and meets their developmental needs. All our meals are supplied by yumyumme and are cooked fresh-from-frozen daily on site. Yumyumme consults our nursery staff to ensure quality meals are provided for all children against a balanced menu on a four week rolling cycle.

My eldest child spend 3 happy years at the City Centre Bambinos and we were very happy with the care provided.
She was nurtured and developed positive relationships with the staff there.
Our youngest will be starting soon and I’m looking forward to him enjoying the same experiences. It makes returning to work much easier, knowing that your child is being well cared for.

Started her nursery journey with Bambinos at the age of 2 due to speech delay. After a few months of difficult transition- nursery now is her favourite place to go! From personalising her learning pathway to recognising her strengths, they have helped her grow into a confident, talkiative and included child. Well done Bambinos, please keep up th good work.

Absolutely amazing at everything... starting with and introduction meeting, settling in session and onwards.. my little man has been to other nurserys and childminders before but bambinos are just AMAZING.. so happy to have found them.... great Ofsted report, loads of space for them to spend their days in and all staff are absolute diamonds 💜 Thank you guys and keep doing what you do best 💞 Can't wait for September 🙊

My boy loves it there, the staff are wonderful always smiling and ready to listen to your individual needs, my son has a special relationship with his care givers , especially Molly, Kasha and he gets really upset if he doesn’t see Deryl to say goodbye at the end of his session , and bless Deryl he makes the effort to entertain him even when he’s on his lunch break. We will both miss them when he joins the big school in September. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time there x

My daughter attended Bambinos (city centre) from the ages of 1-4 and now my 2 year old son attends twice a week. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They’re kind, caring and always do their best for the children. They teach them independence and kindness as well as educate them. All of the wonderful things you could wish for in a nursery happen here. The staff will always work with you for the best approach to your child and treat them all as individuals. I couldn’t be happier with Bambinos and how much they care for both of my children.

Both our children attend Bambinos in Tavistock and absolutely love it. The whole team are just amazing and it feels like one big family. The enthusiasm and care from the staff is fabulous and as a business it’s very well organised and structured. I’d highly recommend them. We’re so happy with Bambinos and can’t thank the Tavi girls enough!
