Little Deers provide high quality, affordable childcare in Plymstock, Plymouth. Within a friendly and homely atmosphere, children can learn, play and socialise with others but most of all have fun. Little Deers offers high quality, affordable childcare in Plymstock, near Plymouth. We are located in the Beckly Centre, Mayers Way and are lucky enough to be on the edge of Radford Woods to which we enjoy taking the children on daily walks.
Our Pre-school strives to maintain a friendly atmosphere where children can thrive in a safe and caring setting; stimulated by play with other children and appropriate activities under the guidance of trained and experienced staff.Children are able to learn, play, socialise with other children but most of all have fun while they do all this.

All resources and activities are set up to ensure all Early Years Foundation Stage Areas of Learning are covered. This is achieved by careful termly/half termly/weekly and daily planning. If you wish to find out more about this please just ask your child's key person. We work to a planned curriculum using the Early early foundation stage which your child will follow until the end of their Foundation/reception year at school.
The Pre-school room is secured at all times and keypad code is required to enter and exit the main staff door with a chain secured in place also. The pre-school room has a double lock, security alarm and video doorbell. No-one can access the building without ringing the bell and then a member of staff will letting them in.
Please bring a backpack with 2 full changes of clothes (including socks) with your child each day. Please bring a named drinks bottle, that your child can access during the session. Ideally please fill this with water, squash/juice won't be provided at pre school, drinks bottles will be re filled throughout the session as needed with water.
The number of children joining our setting with allergies is growing, in particular children with serious allergies to nuts. We do our very best as a setting to provide snacks catering for all of our childrens allergies and dietary requirements, however we do continue to rely on your support when packing lunches for your child and not including any nut products.
