Services
We are fortunate at Cromer Road to have a swimming pool on site where all children swim every week. Our children develop confidence in the water from an early age and continue to develop important swimming skills for life. We are exploring entering a partnership with OPSOS who will manage and maintain our pool, whist providing high quality swimming lessons.
We are always trying to improve the quality of education for our children and the ways in which we communicate with parents and the wider community. To contact the school, please find our details below. However, we have an electronic contact form that will transfer your message instantly to the school office and help the office team to redirect your message more quickly and efficiently.
At Cromer Road we provide a welcoming, happy, safe and secure environment where learning is fun, purposeful and challenging. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive community school where all children are given equal recognition for the contribution they make. We strive for high achievement in all we do; academically, in sports and in the creative arts.
We believe that children learn best when subjects are delivered in a meaningful context so we teach the objectives of the national curriculum through topics. We provide our children with an engaging and creative curriculum which allows them to reach their full potential academically and socially. Children develop the skills they need to become inquisitive, independent learners at school and to become successful individuals in society.
We are fortunate to have a team which is dedicated to ensuring that pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) receive the very best support to achieve their potential. If you would like to get in touch with our SENCO please use the contact information found on our Contact Us page and mark any correspondence for the attention of Mrs Jenna Heyns (SENCO).

The best primary school in Barnet! I'm so glad that I went here. Having to leave was one of the saddest moments of my life, and I really wish I could turn the clock back. If you are looking for a first class primary school in Barnet for your child, choose Cromer Road. You will love it, and so will your child. I strongly recommend it.

Both my daughters go to Cromer Road . They love it. They look forward to going to school. Its a community school with children from differents faiths and backgrounds. The children have excellent teachers and a wide range of things to do. Loads of extra-curricular activities. The school has its own swimming pool. Every week they have a free swimming lesson. Our swimming team beat all the other schools in the borough - including the private ones. There's also lots of opportunity for the children to learn musical instruments (including the piano) in school time. Its a happy, busy and fun school.
