Sacks Morasha is a welcoming modern orthodox Jewish primary school in Finchley, North London. Passionate about educational excellence, we seek and achieve high standards in both secular and Jewish studies (Limmudei Kodesh). We are committed to our children reaching their potential in an atmosphere that encourages engagement with Torah values, Ivrit and the state of Israel.
Our name honours Lord Sacks, the former Chief Rabbi, and 'Morasha' means legacy; the school aims to be a source of immense pride to the community, passing on Jewish values as a living inheritance to our children. Since opening in 2008, our school has built an excellent reputation and received an impressive Ofsted assessment in both 2009 and 2014, with outstanding grades for leadership, management and pupil behaviour.

We aim to provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for all pupils whatever their level is on entry to the school and beyond. We recognise that every pupil is on their own journey and we strive to ensure each pupil can develop, grow and be the very best they can be. We aim to explore the pupil's talents and aptitudes and give them the best of us enabling them to be the best they can be.
If you need to come to the School Office in person, please note that you can only do so after you have picked your child up and not before. The school day for all children starts at 8.40am, finishing at 3.30pm for Reception pupils, 3.40pm for KS1 pupils, and 10 minutes later at 3.50pm for KS2. Children should be collected from the side doors of their classrooms at the end of the day.
Our parent body is heavily involved in the life of the school through the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), which is responsible for organising many different events in order to raise extra funds for our growing school, as well as to create a sense of community amongst our families. We encourage as many parents as possible to help in the planning and organisation of each event.
Please see the results of our Standardised Testing, government-initiated tests and initiatives designed to assess our children at various points throughout their time in primary school. The tests represent a small part of the work we do to ensure all children leave Sacks Morasha ready for secondary school and beyond.
