School governors are one of the country's largest voluntary groups with around 345,000 school governors contributing to strategic development and raising standards of achievement at over 30,000 schools. School governors are members of their school's governing body which is a "corporate body".
A corporate body has a legal identity that is separate from its members and as a result, individual governors are generally protected from personal liability as a result of the governing body's decisions and actions, provided they act honestly, reasonably and in good faith.Decisions of the whole governing body are public, but the views of individual governors are private and personal.

Our school will provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment where everyone will be inspired to do their best. Our pupils will be guided towards a loving relationship with God, through example, prayer and the teachings of Christ. Our pupils will be confident and caring in their relationships with others in the school, and with the community at large.
We have various school trips throughout the year which Support the topics children are learning about. Places visited by the children recently include The Royal Air Force Museum, The Celtic Harmony Camp, Paradise Wildlife Park, Ragged School Museum, Neasden Hindu Temple and The Houses of Parliament.
We recognise that all children learn best when they are happy, motivated and working at their own ability level. This is how they will perform to their full potential. We strive to promote in all members of our community an awareness of personal worth and self-confidence, as well as an awareness of their responsibilities to self and others.
At Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Primary School, we strive to meet the needs of all pupils within our school. All staff are aware of SEND within the school and receive high quality information and training. We aim to quickly identify pupils, who are making limited progress and provide targeted interventions and support to meet their needs.
