Services
5-day For a novice. However, if you have no previous driving experience we would recommend that you take a few lessons before starting this course. 6 Modules - Pass Plus is a course developed by the Driving Standards Agency with the help and backing of the Insurance Industry.

The course has been designed to improve your skills in areas where you may have little experience and to reduce your risk of being involved in a road accident, as well as giving you a substantial discount on your motor insurance premiums. The cost of the Pass Plus course should be more than covered by the saving you make from your first insurance premium.
She explains things thoroughly and the techniques she taught me were paramount for me to pass. Sharon is the perfect instructor - patient, calm, knowledgeable and easy to chat to! I always felt safe in the car and she always gave constructive feedback without making you feel bad about how you've driven that day.
From beginner to qualified driver with Alert No1 School of Motoring, what you need to know. As a photo is required for your licence the DVLA can use your passport photo if you have one. If you don't have one, or you want to use a different one, this will need to be sent to the DVLA separately. You can find costs for all licence types here.
On your first lesson, you will need to print and produce your licence information. Use this link to get the appropriate information required by your instructor for your first lesson. Official site for tips and advice for learners and qualified driver alike to help you be a Safe Driver For Life. Road Respect is about making the roads safer in North East England.
Unfortuantely, statistics show that new drivers of any age are more likely to have a collission within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. While this is really just down to a lack of experience insurance premiums merely reflect the increased risk.

Sharon is one of the best driving instructors I have had, i tried with other instructors and they where not as good and didn't teach me as much as sharon did. She is very friendly and helpful and will make you feel at ease when learning with her. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™‚

Sharon is a lovely, encouraging, calm and patient instructor. I failed my driving test several times due to nerves, however Sharon was very uplifting and encouraged me to keep trying. Now I have my licence :) I would recommend Sharon to anyone, especially people who are a bit anxious about driving.
