Ernest Mason started Success School of Motoring in 1970. His first tuition vehicles were the popular cars of the day: the Mini and the Vauxhall Viva. Later, he would buy two teaching vehicles of the same make and model (red & blue); always Fords or Datsuns. During the 20 years Mr Mason had taught in South London, he estimates that Success received around 2000 customers.
There have been many occasions where Success School Of Motoring has taught the children or grandchildren of Mr Mason's successful ex-pupils. He retired from teaching in 1990 and returned to the Caribbean, to venture into the brick production business. When his new business was firmly established, he started a driving school in Kingston, Jamaica where he continued until 2006.

Special offer limited to new customers with less than 5 hours experience or a novice: First five hours when paid in advance: 150.00 (Please note, this offer is authorized by the instructor, do not buy unless given permission). 2. Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked. Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps. 3. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
It's all very well looking at lots of multiple choice questions, but do you really know your triangular signs from your round ones? Or your stopping distances in the wet and dry? If you're ready for your theory test you should be able to answer most of these questions. It's a declaration that your car isn't being used on the road - so you don't have to pay vehicle tax.

Winston was always so professional; on time to every lesson and took the time to provide feedback. He really cares about his pupils and prioritised teaching us to be safe drivers on the road.
I started my lessons in 2019 but unfortunately Covid-19 meant that my test had to be cancelled in March 2020. After having achilles surgery in the third lockdown, I picked up my lessons again and I always joked to Winston that I did not want to see him in the year 2022. Now that I have passed my test (first attempt!), I can honestly say I will miss you Winston!

Thanks Winston First of all for all the help and support !. Winston was always on time never cancelled and also notified me 48 hours before my lesson which was great and the consistency was always there. The lessons was always structured and helped to give me great progression each lesson. i would Like to also add I passed first time as Winston made sure everything was squeaky clean with my driving. He was great in both teaching me the practical skills but also with all the knowledge for the driving theory test I would highly recommend Success School of Motoring.

THE BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTOR EVER!! Winston has taught me so many different techniques which I can carry out when driving on the road without pulling too many faces! His knowledge on the road is like no other. Winston has encouraged me to be the best I could be whilst driving, especially in London!! His passion as well as determination for his students is encouraging as he wants us all to succeed the first time round. He has had a lot of patience with me, as I have had my fair share of good days and bad days. I would have not passed first time round without Winston's support and belief in me and

Winston is the most dedicated driving instructor. He will make sure to sharpen your driving skills to perfection so you are 100% prepared for your test and for driving on your own. His techniques are very accurate, mostly get every manoeuvre bang on. Very professional and a perfectionist! If you learn from him you're sorted for any future driving.

Winston has been fantastic, very patient and really good instructor. He has a very good and effective teaching method (whatever you think is the right way, just follow what he teaches you and you will pass!).
Cannot recommend him enough. Do not waste your time and money with other larger driving schools (I made that mistake).
Thanks again Winston!!
