Because safety is vital, your instructor is CRB checked regularly. Please note: to drive in the UK you must be able to read (with glasses or contacts, if required) a car number plate from 20 meters. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality training that will last a lifetime. The company began trading in 2004 and has broad experience in the driving schools business.
We pride ourselves on providing the best quality driving lessons money can buy. Our recent Driving Instructors assessment held by the DVSA proves this. We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Grade A (highest grade) on our latest assessment. This reflects our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality driving lessons for all our learners.
EL's Driving School has been teaching pupils to drive throughout Bromley and the surrounding areas since 2004. No matter what the circumstances, whether you are a nervous starter, or a seasoned full licence holder looking for advanced driving tuition, we can help! We are fully qualified Approved Driving Instructors by the DVSA.
We offer tuition that is tailored to the needs of each individual learner driver. As well as offering tuition around Catford and the local area, EL's also offers free online theory test training. If you have already passed your practical test, and would like additional training, our refresher courses can help you.

Elgin was a great instructor. I went to Elgin having already attempted (and failed) a test with another instructor and he was brilliant at helping me to improve my driving across the board (especially my parking which needed some help!). He was very patient and professional and explained everything clearly. I passed in West Wickham and would highly recommend him as a teacher for anyone looking to learn in an automatic.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of my driving lessons, even with the stop/start due to Covid restrictions. Elgin is professional, patient and very knowledgeable (with a great sense of humour). He gave me the confidence to believe I was a capable driver and with his expertise, I passed my test first time!

Elgin is an absolutely brilliant instructor. He worked with me in between the lockdowns and I'm very proud to say, he prepped me to pass on my first attempt. He looks out for the detail and ensures you practise your weaker points more and he will encourage you to trust yourself when he can see you're ready.

EL's Driving school has been such a blessing in this last year. Passed on my first go and it was hands down due to Elgin. He is caring, a good communicator and is very passionate about driving well, which he is teaching his students to do. He instils good driving habits and makes sure you are comfortable and ready for your test. Can absolutely recommend. Thumbs up!

First time successful!
Elgin is a professional and a thorough instructor. He observed my driving and he picked up on the areas that I was struggling with. My major problems were observations and signalling. He drilled me and he polished me. Also, he knows what the examiners are looking for and he prepared me well enough to impress the examiners. He is no time waster and I would strongly recommend him.
