If you take the Pass Plus course after you have passed your driving test, you will not just be a safer driver but will be entitled to generous discounts from many insurance companies. The Pass Plus course consists of six one hour modules. There is no test at the end of the course, but your Pass Plus registered instructor needs to sign off that you have completed the course and that your driving has been of a satisfactory standard.
The theory test is in two parts - a question part and a hazard perception part. Both parts have to be passed at the same time and he whole theory test must be passed before you can apply for the practical driving test. Most theory tests are carried out at dedicated theory test centres. The first part of the theory test involves 50 multiple choice questions which are displayed on a touch screen computer.
