Services
In the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), children are encouraged to learn through a curriculum based on active play and exploration. Our qualified staff provide opportunities around the four principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). There are seven areas of learning and development and three are essential for supporting children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
Sunshine is a small privately run day nursery and pre-school led by enthusiastic and passionate Nursery Managers. If you're hard working, enthusiastic and passionate about children and enjoy smiling, we want to talk to you. Sunshine is committed to the safeguarding and promotion of child welfare. One of the ways we achieve this is through rigorous adherence to the safer recruitment process.
Dress for mess! Children who are toilet training are best in jogging bottoms or shorts. Trousers with belts can be tricky for younger children who want to be independent. In winter please put a t-shirt on under a fleece or jumper as it can be hot after a physical activity. If your child has a special toy or blanket that they are much attached to you are welcome to send that in to Nursery clearly labelled with the child's name.
