Hetton-le-Hole Nursery School is a Sunderland Local Authority 39 place nursery. We offer flexible places that will suit the needs of each family. Every child is entitled to 15 hours free nursery education and we can also offer wrap around care from 7.30am until 6pm. Nursery can be the child's first experience of the wider world, outside of the family home.
Through regular meetings and visits, they are very familiar with the life of the school and our vision. They work hard to ensure that the school continues to develop and improve. Hetton-le-Hole Nursery School Governing Board aims to support and challenge the Headteacher and her staff in delivering a diverse, challenging and tailored learning experience that ensures every child achieves their full potential.
At Hetton-le-Hole Nursery School we aim to provide a secure and caring environment where we can meet the needs of every child. We welcome all children in the community and ensure that they all have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and to participate in all areas of school life, including access to the Early Years Curriculum.
From this date Local Authorities (LA) and schools are required to publish and keep under review information about services they expect to be available for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) aged 0-25. The LA refer to this as the'Local Offer'. The intention of the Local Offer is to improve choice and transparency for families.

An absolutely fantastic nursery, you can see how much the staff care about the children and how passionate they are in their job. Sophie completely thrived during her time in the main nursery and I can't thank… them enough, we were so sad to miss the 2020 Spring/Summer term but Sophie has been amazing in her transition into reception and is already doing fab due to having such an amazing journey at Hetton Le Hole Nursery School, she still talks about you all 😊 x

I believe this is down to having a brilliant start here and the interventions that were put in place to help build his confidence. Our daughter Darcie also attends and is making amazing progress and is
