Services
Inspired by an array of early years' theorist including Frobel and Reggio Emilia, Child's Play have established their own unique approach to creating the ultimate Edu-Care service which allows children to learn through play, become curious and decide their own challenges. We believe every child has their own 'spark' and it is up to us to help ignite that spark.
At Child's Play Private Nursery we believe that each and every child has a spark inside him/her and it is the job of our practitioners to help ignite that spark. Our Explorers room is specially designed to promote all care and learning needs for our youngest of learners. The room boasts its own private sleep space, wet area for messy play, nappy changing area as well as a large soft carpeted area for general play and learning experiences.
Child's Play Private Nursery has an extensive list of policies, procedures and working practices in place to ensure the utmost level of high-quality care and safety are provided to all of our children, families, visitors and staff members. Child's Play Nursery truly believes establishing strong relationships with parents/ carers is the most important way of ensuring all of the children's needs are met, as ultimately they are the child's number one educator and they know their child better than us.
We strive to achieve and provide a 'home from home' service- to ensure this we provide a Special Carer system which is designed to help build up this relationship from the word go initially through 'transition visits.'Parents are welcomed into the setting for visits so that they can educate the special carer about their child and start to form relationships.

Three and four Year Old's: All three and four-year old's in England are entitled too funded, part-time Early Learning, Care and Development the term after their third birthday. It lasts for three terms, until your child reaches statutory school age. Children can currently attend on a part-time basis for 15 hours a week, for 38 weeks a year which can be taken flexibly over a minimum of three days during term times only.
