The Welcome Chinese Restaurant is family run and our Head Chef has more than 20 years professional experience in preparing traditional Cantonese food. The Generously proportioned restaurant and many round tables ensure that guests are able to chat with each other with ease with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves without feeling cramped or uncomfortable.

The food was really tasty, we had it to take out. My only complaints were that the service wasn't the friendliest and the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls that I had were a bit stringy and for the price they were quite small. The crispy seaweed was delicious though as was the fried rice. The atmosphere of the restaurant looked pleasant so we may in future come back to dine in.

Lovely inside staff attentive food ok on buffet very filling even though limited menu no beef / lamb or mussels dishes on buffet what a shame as most buffets have this option . Drinks very expensive pint of coke nearly the same as a pint . Easy to get to parking just round the corner park and display .

Visited this week as part of group of 10 for 60th birthday celebration. Seated on 2 adjacent tables (6 and 4) on arrival and drinks supplied very quickly. Provided excellent choice of food which was served promptly and efficiently. After 3 very filling courses they willingly served the birthday cake we had provided. Very enjoyable meal with excellent and friendly service. Recommended.

I had a very pleasant experience with this restaurant. The staff was most helpful and they are well connected to their customers. Dinner was flavourful and prompt. The vegetable dumplings were quite impressive. There is no designated parking but they make accommodations for the handicapped. If you enjoy a spicier experience, be sure to ask for chilli oil.
