The pub has always been known as the Cornish Arms and has a long and interesting history. Both Frogpool village and the Cornish Arms have undergone many changes over the years, but have managed to maintain a good reputation for being a pleasant place to spend some time.
As a free house, the Cornish Arms is able to offer a wide selection of good beers and quality wines, complemented by an extensive menu, seasonal specialities and a traditional Sunday lunch.Plus we host regular euchre, bingo, pool, quizzes, music & food nights and the Harvest Festival. Please check our opening and food service times.

Services
Jane and Tim have been running the Cornish Arms Frogpool for some time and now they have been joined by Jane's nephew Ross and his wife Emma. Jane and Tim built the business on a wealth of experience working in the hotel and catering world.
Tim trained as a chef at the Dorchester Hotel in London, worked for 5 star hotels all over the world and was catering manager at Truro Golf Club, while Jane had a variety of jobs in the trade, including Club Steward at Falmouth Golf Club.

Initially hours will be flexible dependent upon demand, so please phone 01872 863445 to check. Now the pub is fully re-opened, we have new takeaway times to accommodate all our customers. Should anyone require a takeaway at a later time, give us a call and we will do our best to arrange this dependent on trade inside.
Beers are likely to change at short notice but currently we have two real ales on tap, Tribute (4.2% ABV) from St Austell Brewery and Harbour Special (4.8% ABV) from Tintagel Brewery. Our Beer History above gives you some idea of the beers you are likely to find at the Cornish Arms. For the cider drinkers we have regular ciders Rattler Original from Healeys and Thatchers Gold.
