Solution focused hypnotherapy is a relaxing and safe way to help you make changes to your life that you want to make. Life at times can be extremely stressful and we're not always aware of the unwanted effect that stress is having on our lives. Perhaps you have feelings of low mood or anxiety or that you aren't in control?

Perhaps you feel overwhelmed or can't seem to find the right path? Do you need help to overcome a phobia or an addiction? Maybe you are struggling with your weight, wanting to stop smoking or finding it difficult to deal with pain? I will work with you to find positive solutions to help you take control of your life.

I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. I qualified from The Clifton Practice, Bristol, a recognised centre of excellence for hypnotherapy. I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH). I attend regular supervision and continuing professional development to keep completely up to date.
I practise this simple and modern hypnotherapy. This approach differs from other methods of therapy by focusing on the solutions and how you want things to be, rather than analysing problems or the past. It is a safe and powerful psychotherapeutic tool and also an extremely relaxing and pleasant experience.
I work with using solution focused hypnotherapy. The list is not exhaustive, so please give me a call or email me if you need further information. Please note, you need to be willing to work with me and some changes in lifestyle may be discussed. You will need to get on board with the process - unfortunately no hypnotherapist owns a magic wand!
Hypnosis is a different state of consciousness which you can naturally enter so that access to the unconscious mind can be made. The subconscious mind can be both a reservoir of unrecognised potential and knowledge as well as being the unwitting source of many of our problems. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy focuses on solutions for the future, rather than digging up problems of the past.
I came to see you in February this year to help me with weight loss, I also joined slimming world. I wasn't sure if this was the correct thing to do as I would be focusing on diet/food and that was the reason I came to you - to stop focusing on food. Now 21 weeks on I have lost 4 stone & 5 lb not forgetting the 1/2lb.
