We are a small animal practice in Wellingborough, first established in 1989. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.

Johnston Vets is a RCVS accredited Small Animal General Practice, located in Wellingborough. We pride ourselves on having an experienced, friendly team with a caring approach who provide the best possible care to both you and your pets. We encourage clients to form a bond with their preferred vets, thus enabling them to see the cases through from start to finish.
Here at Johnston Veterinary Clinic, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01933 442188 and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact Vets Now on 01604 635835. Vets Now is our preferred emergency services partner.

Was new customer here with 1 my dogs a chi . They never answer emails also said they felt 2 teaticles he only got 1 so they were wrong . He never had his 6 months check up its like tgey didn't care . I wouldn't recomend . I wanted local vet as dont drive wanted to move all my 4 over but now I won't. I keep to pets at home Riverside.

Excellent quality of service, care, professional kindness. Have been going here since they opened, would never consider taking my animal any where else. The kindness they have shown to all my animal's is truly both beautiful and totally amazing especially in the time of their death. I cannot thank Keren enough for her dedication to making animals healthy again. She dealt with our cat at short notice when he got sick. Unfortunately, we also had to take him to the vet hospital nearby but it was a seamless transition from the vet to the hospital and back again. The aftercare is also fantastic with regular calls to check on progress. I can't thank this clinic enough for all the hard work the staff do.
