My search found this Wheatsheaf in Woodplumton. I read the reviews and thought to myself next time we are that way I will try it. Anyway when we got to Garstang the Wheatsheaf there did not serve food till after 5. Thus we ended up in Woodplumpton. What a lovely little pub. Had the wheatsheaf for my sons christening venue and I couldn't rate them enough the owners are such a nice couple who go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble.
Our beautiful double bedroom complete with en suite is perfect for everyone, from those wanting a bit of peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of life, to those who simply need a peaceful nights sleep to break up a long journey. Here are some photos of previous events weve hosted here at the Wheatsheaf, including birthdays, Christening parties, funerals, Wedding breakfasts.

Food not up to much. Thanks for your response Peter. You need to objectively review your Sunday roast and lasagne. You have a lovely pub with nice staff and you yourself come across well. Unfortunately the two meals i mentioned are well under par. The potatoes were virtually burned to a crisp, you only provided one small gravy boat for two roast dinners and the gravy was very thick, the other veg were plain and soggy. The lasagne only had one layer of pasta and was therefore more akin to a dish of Bolognese. I'm not out to make your life difficult Peter and i wish you every success so i will delete
