St George's Catholic Primary School
Whether you are a parent, pupil or prospective parent, we hope you enjoy visiting our site and find what you are looking for. St George's is a very special, friendly school with a close parent community. We foster Gospel Values in all we do with our children and offer them an exciting and stimulating curriculum that values the uniqueness of every child.

Their uniqueness is embraced and celebrated as soon as our children start their journey with us in our purpose-built nursery. We offer warm and nurturing surroundings for children to flourish and access all aspects of the environment. Our skilled and dedicated staff strive to develop individual talents and interests, through the curriculum and a broad range of extra-curricular activities.
Services
Communication: our main route of communication will be via notification on the school app. If you have any queries or concerns; we are always available to speak after school. Mornings are very busy but we will always make time to speak to you if it is urgent.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you are worried about anything, we would much rather nip things in the bud or answer queries straight away to ensure that you and your child are happy in school. If you are unable to contact us in person, it is recommended that you email our school office admin.stgeorgesprimary@schools.sefton.gov.uk and we will respond to you as quickly as we can.
The children have settled in beautifully to life in Year 2 and seem very ready to learn and work hard. They have loved being back in the classroom with all of their friends. Mrs Airey and I are so lucky to have such a kind, caring and sensible class. We are both so excited for the year ahead and look forward to seeing the children grow and progress throughout the year.
Please keep an eye on our Twitter page as I will be posting a weekly update of our learning! Please make sure your child is ready for the multiplication check by helping him/her to learn the times tables with fluency and speed. We use mathsframe in school to practise and children will be able to also use this at home.
Spelling lists will be sent home on Monday to learn for a test on Friday. Please help your child to learn the spelling lists. This will really help them with their writing in school. Most children still need to continue to work on stage 3 and 4 spellings but should be beginning to learn the stage 5 and 6 spellings.
1) To enable every individual (made in the image and likeness of God) to learn, grow and reach their full potential. Providing positive role models and giving opportunities to highlight and reward good examples of living a Christian life from the children. Providing opportunities to focus on a weekly Gospel value through well planned, daily, collective worship sessions.
