East Morton C Of E Primary School
East Morton Church of England Primary School is an 'outstanding' church school with a strong Christian ethos. We are inclusive and welcoming to all, be they of Christian faith, another faith or no faith at all. Children are at the heart of every decision we make. We strive to ensure that our children are safe, happy, provided with exciting and relevant learning opportunities and then encouraged and supported to flourish.

Through our broad, balanced and engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We have a dedicated team of staff working hard to ensure that each and every one of our children leaves us at the end of Year 6 as a keen learner who is excited and confident to rise to any challenge that lies ahead.
Services
At East Morton CE Primary, we believe that our carefully sequenced History curriculum provides our learners with every chance and opportunity to gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. Through an engaging 'hook' at the beginning of each topic, we inspire learners to become life-long historians who are curious about the world in which they live and are eager to know more about the past.
At East Morton, "Love" is our core value and it is from love which all of our six key values flow: Hope, Justice, Community, Peace, Wisdom and Generosity. The Christian distinctiveness is explicit and implicit throughout school life, relationships and the curriculum. All members of the school community experience Christianity through the life of the school, as well as through the taught curriculum.
Strong interpersonal relationships are a strength of our successful school. Learners treat one another with care, compassion, dignity and respect, with bullying rarely being seen. When disagreements do occur, the focus is not on reprimands, consequences, or sanctions, but on understanding what has caused the situation and supporting reconciliation and forgiveness.
St Luke's Church has been at the heart of East Morton village ever since it was built in 1851. We would love to be able to welcome you in person so do get in touch or come along to one of our services. There is space for all to come and belong, to find friends on the journey and to grow in faith and love.
At East Morton CE Primary School, we believe in a broad, balanced and creative curriculum, which provides every child with every chance to flourish and achieve their potential by becoming successful, life-long learners who are able to enjoy life in all its fullness as they move on to secondary education and beyond.
