Gwesty'r Ship - The Ship Hotel, managed by the Harrison family since 1982, is located in the centre of the village of Aberdaron, just a few metres away from the sandy beach. The picturesque seaside village is located at the very tip of the Lln Peninsula, North West Wales, within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Ship Hotel, Aberdaron offers a range of Bed & Breakfast accommodation and great home cooked food. Choose from double or family rooms. We have one family suite with ample room. Cots are also available. All our rooms are of a good size and are fitted to a high standard with solid pine furniture, central heating, Freeview TV / DVD player and comfortable decor.
Our menu offers classic hearty dishes alongside lighter healthy options, providing choices for every taste. Every meal is cooked fresh, which means that any special requests or dietary requirements can often be catered for. The Ship Hotel has plenty of superb local seafood to choose from including freshly caught fish, crab and lobster sourced from Aberdaron's very own fishermen.
Popular amongst locals and tourist, The Ship Hotel is Aberdaron's No.1 destination for those who like a tipple or two. The bar has a modern and welcoming appeal but you're never too far away from the old traditions. Our well stocked bar offers a wide selection of beer, wine and spirits. In addition to serving well known brands, our bar offers a good selection of locally produced beers, ales, wine and spirits.
It's also within a short drive from Llyn Peninsula's finest beach, Porth Oer (Whistiling Sands). Aberdaron's beach is made up mostly of sand with the odd large rock around. It is situated directly adjacent to the village centre. Dogs are allowed on the part of the beach to the left of the slipway and the beach is also good for surfers if the conditions are right.

This place was a nice local pub
Food was good but not mind blowing .
Best things were the porchetta and a chicken parmesan thing , and calamari. Other food was good but not perfect .
The man running all the meals was lovley but struggling on his own, exhausted running about at speed with a disability/ injury . and they clearly need more staff to help him .
