As an independent practice we are proud of our reputation and are not driven by shareholder demands. Our sister company, VisionCare Development specialise in Behavioural Optometry. Ruth Perrott is one of 50 Behavioural Optometrists in the UK and is also able to offer Vision Therapy.
We all rely on our eyes and the need for good eyesight for almost every aspect of our daily lives. Access to information through reading and television depends on clear vision, while life itself can depend on the ability to see properly while driving, or simply walking in busy streets. The reason we need eye exams is that eyes, unlike teeth, don't normally let you know in an obvious way when something is wrong.
This is a free service carried out by a qualified Optometrist in your local area, rather than you waiting for an appointment with your GP. You must be registered with a GP in the local area to the Practice to be seen under this scheme. Our daughter is top in her class for spellings and maths but it’s a shame her eyes let her down, we Can’t thank Ruth enough for her amazing attention to finding the reason to our daughters problems. We now know how she sees the world and the difficulties she has faced. With Ruth’s help and Fiona’s this can all now be corrected
If you child has vision problems please book to see Ruth the technology she used was amazing her knowledge too.
We are returning for more investigations and our daughters glasses. Ruth is not your normal optician she goes even further to see what is going on then

Felt extremely overcharged for the service and then even more so when billed for the glasses they have been lose since the day I bought them and the front with the lenses built in are bent aswell so one lens touches my eye lid and the other is very far away they have not been sat on or damaged or bent they have just been used and well looked after
