Excellent! A more welcoming pub, I've yet to find. Not only were the staff and manager really accommodating, the food was wonderful too. All our party's whims were catered for and we all felt valued. The beer is excellent, the wine choices offer something for everyone and you have such a beautiful setting in which to enjoy the time spent here.

Unbelievably disappointing! Non existent service, no cranberry sauce with my turkey, tiny portion of gravy, no waitress service .......I could go on! Even the paltry discount reluctantly offered couldn't compensate for the total lack of atmosphere. We will not be darkening their door again.

Great atmosphere, food and service! We went here on the way back from a running event in Swanage without a booking and were towards the end of service (with dogs!) and couldn't have been friendlier!
Two of us had steak, and one thr venison burger, all were very tasty, and the desserts seemed to go down very well!!
Will definitely be back, as it's on our route to the area!

Visited here over the festive season…excellent traditional bar. Service was really good with knowledgeable staff who were attentive without being overbearing. Large range of Gin and real ales along with cider and extensive selection of wine. The festive decorations were very tasteful and the atmosphere was lovely. Wide choice of menu items to suit all tastes. The bar and facilities were extremely clean and well appointed. The staff are lovely but the food not so,We were staying at the Hunters moon caravan park and had a voucher for 10% off unfortunately we had left it in the van & they don't honour the voucher if you don't have it in hand.After speaking to some other campers this has happened to them also.My advise is take the voucher because the food is over priced and of poor quality so not worth the full price. Travel a bit further into Wareham where you will find better quality and at a better price.
Ps if you are a vegetarian they only have 1 salad,Which was off the menu & a plant burger.

Lovely pub, great food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Visited.rje pub with my sister and Dad on Friday lunch time. Dad unfortunately felt a little unwell whilst their and the staff were amazing and so helpful. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Silent Women Team

Lovely lunch today at this cosy pub . The home made curried cauliflower soup was delicious !!!

We have just returned from an amazing lunch . The Sunday roast was fabulous . I had the beef which was cooked to perfection . My husband had the veggie Wellington , which was the best he’s ever had . It was also good to have your veggies served on the side so you could have ad much or as little as you want . The cauliflour cheese looked amazing , my husband it was very tasty. Fabulous value too.
Jay and his staff were very welcoming and provided a brilliant service . We will definitely return again the next time we are in wareham . Thank you for the perfect way to end our holiday . Best wishes

After a decent 1 hour walk with lots of kiddies we all made it to The Silent Woman hungry and thirsty. What a lovely setting, lovely beer gardens... that cater for children and dogs too.
We all ordered food (11 of us) on 3 separate orders and they did a great job getting it out to us in good time. The food was great and reasonably priced. A great British Pub.

Two fab visits. We visited Saturday as a group of 8 whilst on holiday nearby and afterwards booked to come again on Monday as it was so excellent. The salt & pepper calamari was fantastic. It all was. Great friendly service and excellent food. We’ll definitely visit again when we’re next in the area!

Very friendly service and the sausage and mash was lovely. Did expect a bit more than peas when the menu said seasonal veg but still very tasty

Really appalling service overall…
Everyone was waiting ages, and up to 1.5 hours for the first course. There were multiple complaints with uncooked steaks, mine was ordered as well done, and was bleeding. One family after two hours had still not received anything.
The main waitress was doing her upmost to resolve issues, but clearly had no back up from the kitchen, we did feel for her…
Not somewhere where we will eat again.

Had a really lovely evening meal, can definitely recommend the chocolate orange cheese cake. Service was a bit slow but there were lots of people there and the waitress was apologetic but it was just nice to be eating out!

Popped in for late lunch today, wow what a transformation since we last visited! Delicious food with really friendly, attentive staff! We only live locally and will certainly be back! ☺️
