Services
Bussage is a Church of England Aided Primary School, which caters for pupils aged 4 - 11 years. We deliver a well-researched curriculum with committed staff led by the Headteacher. As well as gaining language, mathematical scientific and technological skills, your child will develop in confidence, become more self-reliant, learn decision making and develop the ability to articulate feelings and ideas.
The class teacher accepts full responsibility for the educational and pastoral care of the children in their class. The staff work as a team under the overview taken by the Headteacher. If you have a general concern or enquiry, please talk to your child's class teacher. Please do not hesitate to bring any more serious concerns to the attention of the Headteacher - an appointment can be made through the School Administrator, Mrs. B Cox.
Our school is one in which children can learn safely with guidance, support, a strong sense of community and a broad awareness of, and sensitivity to, their environment and society. Our school's Christian ethos is that all pupils, whatever their abilities or talents, are created in the image of God, and are loved equally by him.
Our school governors play a very important and active role in our school life and development, setting overall strategy and holding the Headteacher to account for performance. The Full Governing Body (FGB) normally meets at least four times a year with sub-committees of the FGB meeting additionally to deal with specific tasks.
