We are delighted to welcome you to Eastington Primary School - a happy, caring learning community. We aim for our children to reach their full potential: academically, socially, physically and emotionally to enable them to confidently make their next steps and embed a life-long love of learning. We strive for our children to become active citizens in society who contribute positively whether locally or globally.

Our school motto is 'aiming high together' - this includes our school values to be: kind, cooperative, resilient, responsible, and ambitious. We work together with all members of our school community to demonstrate these values in all we do. We consider the primary years the most significant in your child's development.
Services
At Eastington Primary School, we endeavour to promote the development of the whole child. Together, we strive for children to be independent, life-long learners who are kind, cooperative, resilient, responsible and ambitious in all they do. Our school values underpin our broad and balanced curriculum.
If you wish to contact the school please contact Mrs Birch, Administrative Officer, in person, by phone or by e-mail. We want to ensure all our children feel safe, are happy and are learning at school - working together will help your child. With this in mind, from time to time, there will be information parents will want to share with the class teacher.
We are fortunate to have a fantastic Forest School practitioner work with our children in Class 1. Ms Levan a qualified teacher and has a wealth of experience. The children love their afternoons exploring the outside environment. Ms Levan often links outdoor learning with the five ways of well-being: Be Active, Keep Learning, Take Notice, Give and Connect or story which the children love.
Children in KS2 have the opportunity to work in small groups to create digital art work with Mr Dougan, our digital art teacher. The work the children undertake links to the curriculum. As part of the work Mr Dougan will teach the children a range of skills how to take photographs, how to alter photos using photoshop, how to create images for specific purposes.
Every parent of a pupil currently attending the school is automatically a member of the Parents Association at Eastington. Each year we are fortunate to have a number of parents who form a representative committee to give their time and skill supporting the school in a variety of ways. Do come along and get involved.
