Being courageous can mean different things to different people. For example, one person may think it easy to speak in front of a large audience, whilst another would need to find lots of courage to do this. Everyone faces challenges from time to time, and we have to find courage to overcome them. The value hope is about much more than just wishing as hard as we can that things will be different.

It is about believing that the world can be better and being prepared to do something! The character Noah in the story opposite, was willing to look silly in front of his neighbours by building a huge boat even though he lived miles from the ocean, because he hoped and believed that God had a plan.

Spirituality concerns one's belief, their relationship with others and with a God. We believe this can be explored through these four elements: self; others; transcendence and awe and wonder. These elements form the basis of our work with children in developing a strong sense of spirituality. Exploration of personal faith and a right to express our views through discussions and debates.
Our Family Support Worker is Karen Young. She is available to talk to children and parents in school on a wide range of issues. These could typically include problems with sleep, eating, toileting, behaviour, family breakdown, young carers, family finances and housing and many other areas. She can do home visits if necessary.
But remember, this is happening to all of us and it isn't our homes it's happening to - its our planet. Our planet requires urgent action. Our planet meets all of our needs, such as air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat and resources to build with. So why are we letting our unique planet die?
