Randwick Church Of England Primary School
We hope this website gives you a flavour of what we're about, and our two films (one above, one in the School Tours tab) provide an insight into life at the school, but you are also most welcome to come and visit us and see our wonderful school in action - ring or email to make a time. Here, you can read about our vision, our ethos and values and our Secrets of Success, all at the heart of what we do.

Our Randwick Runway and Skylark Award are unique, like every child past and present who makes the school what it is. Randwick is a Cotswold village on the edge of Stroud and below National Forest woodland and the Cotswold Way. We make full use of our extra-ordinary environment with regular Forest School sessions and many other experiences locally.
Services
Randwick is a small village school and is very proud of all it achieves. The children thrive at the school, enjoy their learning, are well cared for and are closely supported by dedicated staff, governors, parents and carers and other members of the community.

The aim of the school is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating learning environment underpinned by Christian principles, in which we encourage and value individuals' contributions and respect for others. The strong Christian ethos is a distinct feature of the school and underlies a curriculum that is rich, exciting and challenges the children to achieve their very best.
Welcome to Early Years Foundation Stage at Randwick Primary School. Owl class has a smaller number of pupils than the other classes and is taught as a single year group giving pupils the best start possible, providing a personalised curriculum with a balance of structured play activities, both indoors and out, alongside the development of good basic skills in reading, writing and maths.
I'm Mrs Aldous and my very helpful Teaching Assistant is Mrs Smith. I am a part-time teacher, working Monday To Wednesday. Our classroom environment is visually welcoming, stimulating and lively which helps to develop and engage the children's learning, together with celebrating their achievements.
My name is Miss Newbould, the class teacher, and Mrs. Fletcher, our fabulous teaching assistant, who works alongside me to help and support pupils. Together, we work hard to create a classroom environment which inspires confidence and a love of learning. Our learning is theme-based and this is reflected in the look and feel of our classroom.
I'm Mr Hodgkinson the class teacher and Mrs Chastney works in the class too helping and supporting pupils. We are a creative classroom often turning the room into our theme - we've had rainforest shacks, woodland trees and planets in the class all to help immerse us in the topic. We focus on English, Maths and Reading in the mornings and foundation subjects in the afternoon.
