Hello everyone, I hope that you have had a lovely summer holidays? It was lovely meeting lots of you before the summer holidays but I bet your children have all grown since then! I have been busy getting the classroom ready so your children can have lots of fun. Our PE day is on Friday this term. The children come dressed in their PE kits to school including their navy jogging suit on Fridays.
We are very excited to meet you all in Year 3. Our Year 3 team is Mrs Garton-Pope who will teach you on a Monday and Tuesday. Mrs Hamlin will teach you Wednesdays, Thusdays and Fridays. We are very lucky and will also have Mrs Green, Mrs Jackson and Mr Baggs supporting us every day. This term we will be studying the all about the Stone Age through to the Iron Age in History and looking at the our local area in Geography.
Hello Year 4! We hope you are all having a wonderful summer holiday and starting to get excited about returning to school, we certainly are! We have been busy over the past few months getting our classroom ready for a fun-filled year as well as planning lots of exciting lessons for you to enjoy. This year we have Miss Doherty as your class teacher with Mr Baggs, Miss Clarke and Miss Woods who will be our classroom assistants.
Here you will find important information about our class as well as being able to find out what we have been learning about. Keep checking back to see what we have been up to in Y5! Mr. Bannister is our class teacher, we are also extremely lucky to have Miss Clitherow supporting in class. Mr Hodgkinson will be teaching us for PE on a Friday afternooon.
We have a number of different staff members working in Year 6 this term. Mr Weston teaches every morning and Monday afternoon. Mrs Hurley and Mrs Jackson support the class in the mornings, with Ms Clarke in class for the afternoons. On Tuesday afternoons, Mrs Whittaker takes the class; on Wednesday afternoons Mrs Garton-Pope is with Year 6; and on Thursday and Friday afternoons it is a combination of Miss Clitherow and Mr Hodgkinson.
