St Aidan's Catholic Primary School
Right at the heart of all that we do is our Mission Statement: "Learning and Growing Together; Inspired by the Love of Jesus." It guides us in the way that we grow relationships within school and the hopes and aspirations that we have when we leave St Aidan's and go out into the wider world.

Our Curriculum Statement gives us clear directions in how we can achieve our Mission and also gives us an identity in all that we do and in every decision we make about the provision for our children. Our children and their parents tell us that they like our school, the quality of teaching and learning, the values that we share and the way we care for every child who is part of our wider family.
Services
At St. Aidan's Catholic Primary School we aim for a high-quality history curriculum that should inspire pupils' curiosity and fascination about Britain's past and that of the wider world. Our teaching equips pupils with knowledge about the history of Britain and how it has been influenced by the wider world.
Admissions to the school will be determined by the Governing Body. You can make an objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator (OSA) if you think that the admissions arrangements of a maintained school or an academy do not comply with the 'School Admissions Code' (the Code) or other legislation relating to school admissions.
We are delighted to report that they agreed with us and believe St Aidan's to be a GOOD school. One of the key features of the report is the 'family feel' to the school. Children, staff and parents all value the school, feel safe and cared for.

Our School Values shine through in all we do, in class where children work well together, on the yard were children play together, young and old in harmony, in discussion where staff, children and parents clearly demonstrated how much they believe the school to be a good, safe and successful place to learn and develop.
At St Aidan's, we offer a high level of pastoral care for our pupils. In addition to classroom-based staff, the school also has two Safeguarding Officers, a Learning Mentor/Therapeutic Play Practitioner and an Aromatherapist. Pupils may be referred by staff to support them with their learning, behaviour, emotional well-being, or any other issues, which may arise.
Did you know? Mr Williams is a published author, writing therapeutic stories for primary school children! Mentoring may be delivered on a one-to-one basis, as part of a small group or through support to engage in other activities. A mentor may also attend relevant meetings to support pupils and their families.

I went to this school only 4 years ago and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They call the school a "roman Catholic" school when hymns and prayers are rarely done. A church is next door which the students in the school never go to, no excuses for transportation.
Bad behaved students get rewarded and good behaved students get nothing. The school is pathetic and no discipline is in place.
