We are a happy, friendly school where every member of our talented and highly motivated team of staff and governors works hard to enable and encourage all children to enjoy their learning, achieve their absolute best, and become confident, independent learners. Here at Holy Family, we value the uniqueness of every child and support them in discovering and celebrating their individual gifts and talents.
At the heart of all we do is the safety and well-being of the children and our school values of 'Respect, Responsibility and Resilience' permeate all aspects of school life. We actively encourage parents and carers to become involved in their children's education. Our partnership with you is the key to success.

The governors of a Catholic school work as a team, in close co-operation with the headteacher and all staff. All governors and staff contribute to the Catholic character of the school and the Catholic nature of the education provided, as set out in its mission statement. The governing body ensures clarity of vision, ethos and the strategic direction of the school.
Holy Family is proud to be a Catholic School in which our Catholic faith guides the whole ethos of the school. Through the sharing of our faith and Gospel values we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment alongside excellent, innovative teaching where children learn and grow in faith and love.
There is a Log Book in the school dating back to when the school first opened which the children love to use when studying the history of Cronton and particularly our school. This has now grown to 8 classrooms, a large hall, a library, two offices, a staff room and a separate room for small group / individual work or peripatetic teaching, for example, music.
The correct local authority form relates to the local authority in which you reside and pay your council tax to. You can include any school from any local authority but this information must be given on the application form from your own local authority. Please call into link offices if you require any further information.
As you know, taking family holidays during term time is a difficult issue and we are aware of how challenging it can be for some families to have time off work during the school planned holidays. One of the reasons our governors battled to have two weeks in May/June was to offer our parents another good alternative date for a family holiday: better weather and hopefully lower costs.
